Any tune available for the Q5 PHEV?

    Yea I searched!

Any tuners out there touching this thing? Sure it's just a measly 4-banger, and the exhaust note is non-existent, but with hybrid mode engaged the thing launches like an SQ5!

Just curious if there are any more ponies to be squeezed out of the ICE.

EDIT: I forgot you have the hybrid. I seriously doubt it.

    I don't know.

But I wanted to say it's a legit question since the hybrid Q5 was quick enough to warrant Audi changing the gear ratios on the B9.5 SQ5's so that the Q5 E wouldn't embarrass it going to 60mph.

Been wondering the same thing too…. Launches are one thing, and they sure are impressive, but the lag on the highway is brutal… especially when compared to the Avant…

Well shit, I wonder if it's possible to swap out SQ5 gearing...but that's probably way too expensive to be worthwhile. Would be interesting though.

Wow, blast from the past! How the hell have you been!? I don't notice much highway lag, although I always run in Dynamic mode. I typically pop it into Sport as well when looking to pass.

    The SQ5 has a ZF8.

The hybrid probably has a DSG like the 2.0t Q5?

Yeah seems to be a totally different transmission and not just gearing, I misread/misunderstood the post. I should've done a little research before just spouting off a pie in the sky mod idea.

That was first thing I thought when I picked Q5e, but with all that complexity of the system and price tag of this car, I will very much avoid "any mod". Not brave enough.

But it is interesting to drive.

Do you drive much in Dynamic/Sport mode? I am still learning of 'factory' behavior

I only ever keep it in Dynamic mode. Very rarely do I put it in Comfort or anything similar, unless on very shitty roads. I kick it into Sport mode when needing that extra boost of power.
