I was wondering if I was able to get that dash layout on this car. Really liked it on my 2019 A7. I thought it was because mine was the PHEV model and simply didn't use that layout.

Just recently joined the site and spotted this thread. I did a similar setup last April (bought a 2021 Q5 PHEV off the lot). It's also District Green, did a Chrome Delete and added carbon fiber mirrors (since it didn't come with the black-out treatment), swapped out the wheels with OZ Ultraleggera HLT's, and installed a piggyback RaceChip. I'll be real interested in following you to see how your project car evolves.

    Looks great, Digits!

Figured I'd update this thread with news of a recent goal accomplished. Managed to get 1000+ miles out of a single tank of gas. As you can see via the photo, still had roughly 35 miles of the stuff left in the tank before I topped her off. This is my third trip to the gas station since taking delivery of the car at the end of October last year.

Enjoying this thread and comments from Anthony and Digits. Thanks guys.
I ordered my wife’s Q5 e in September 2022 and it won’t be here in Canada until February 2023. If you can believe this, she chose District Green!
Not as bad delivery as my RS6 - which took a year. But it’s also matte Navarra blue so that added some time.

We just got a district green hybrid this week, I love the ways yours looks lowered with the bronze wheels. Unfortunately ours doesn't have air suspension so I guess I won't be able to lower it like that :(

1,000 miles to a tank is insane, is that mostly around town with no highway? Our car has just about 310 miles on it now, and I just put it's first tank of gas in. I was hoping for a bit better MPG but that does include the two hour highway drive from the dealership, so I think around town with EV mode will have better results.

You just had to go and brag there at the end, huh?

You can still lower it via springs, but yeah you won't have the adjustability at the push of a button like you would with the factory air suspension.

I do not do much freeway driving. Mostly within a 30 mile range, so it stays primarily in EV mode. When you take those longer freeway drives, be sure it's in hybrid mode before you head out. If you use the factory navigation, it should put it in the proper mode for you based on the distance of the trip.

Over the Christmas weekend we drove approximately 390 miles on a full tank, which is now on E. Averaged around 32 MPG

I've had my 2023 Q5e for a month, and find it stupid that if it's charging and I lock the car, later unlocking the car would cause charging to stop. I get 2 hours free charging at work. Once I lock it, I better not need to take anything from the car or put anything in the car! Is there a way (perhaps with VCDS or OBDEleven) to make charging uninterrupted by door unlock?

Why can’t you just re-initiate the charging after you unlock it and re-lock it?

    3 reasons.

    1. I'd like to maximize the 2 free hours.

    2. When there is a wait list, I wouldn't be able to resume, I'd need to move my car and join the wait list again.

    3. I did resume one time when there was no wait list. But it resumed at 1.5 kW instead of the usual 5.x kW. I don't know whether it's the car's bug or ChargePoint's bug. So I'd have to hang around and find out the charging power, and if it's low, stop and start from the beginning.

When you get to work do you really forget things in your car so often that this is an ongoing problem?

It hasn't been an ongoing problem because I've been pussyfooting, which is annoying. I'd rather have control over the behavior.

I assume you don't have an answer for my original question.

I do not. It’s dumb that unlocking the car interrupts charging.

If you’re actually looking to get a question answered I’d suggest that you make a thread instead of asking in someone’s build thread.

Or even post in the “A place to ask random questions” thread - https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=916417

Haha, I'm on 8 fill-ups, but I don't drive very much :) I'm almost due, down to 1/4 tank left.

If I didn't find my neused SQ I would have gone for the PHEV in green with tan or brown interior

looks great, was the 5mm spacer needed for clearance issues or just for aesthetics? Thanks

Shoot, I don't 100% recall. Those were an incorrect spec (20x10.5 ET35) for this car as they were from my previous A7. I no longer run spacers on my current set of wheels which are 20x10 ET32.

I suppose I should update this thread with photos of the current setup. Especially since a new set of wheels (same specs) is going on very soon.
