Put A7 front on A6

Hi all,

Was wondering the question in title, would it technically be possible to change the front of the A6 to the A7.

Obviously the reason for the RS6, having the A7 front is that the normal A6/S6 front looks boring a.f. in comparison. Furthermore, the A7 has laser lights which the A6 doesn't (which I find interesting since the A5 has it).

A quick look at pics, makes me think that it could actually be possible. It would entail fender swap as well, but headlight/radar mounts looks to be the same.

Personally I think that an A6 S-Line/S6 with the 7-front would look beasty.

Have anyone done some research on this? Would it be possible?

Anything is possible, with enough money and hard work!

I too prefer the look of the A7/S7 front over the A6/S6. The RS 6 just looks so damn good with that front end!

To me it just looks like that the fenders “meet” at the same place with the bumper on both cars. Like the C7, they are completely identical on the inside.

It shouldn’t be that hard to find defective bumpers and/or fenders to do a test-fit. :)

Wait, don’t put an A7 front bumper on an A6. I say go all in and put the RS6 front on your A6!
