From the article:
Those wheels are HRE’s P101 model in size 21-inch and wrapped with 295/30/21 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The wheels wouldn’t look so cool inside the RS5’s fenders if it wasn’t for KW and their DDC suspension that lowers the ride height.

Duh, missed that article. Anyhow the color and the wheels are so awesome together. Is the paint something you can order from factory also?

Here we go again! After 4 long months of waiting, our new RS5 in Nardo Grey arrived! We have always loved this color and although we are seeing it pop up more and more, we think it is still quite rare to see on a RS5 and in person it truly looks stunning! I am glad to be back in another Audi. My last project was the black S4 on gold HRE wheels and first Accuair B8 Sport Kit.

The car was ordered through our great friends at Hoehn Audi in Carlsbad in December. The car was spec’d with the following options:

The color is simply awesome, I believe I saw this color on an Audi R8 GT Spyder that was in the Rusnak Pasadena showroom for ages. Although it looked in person a little lighter. Anyone from that area will know the car I am referring to. It was priced so high that it simply was not selling and sat there for a year.

Nardo is much lighter in person. There is a lot of colour grading done on those photographs.

People keep saying this yet I drive the car everyday and that is just not the case. It is purely a lighting play. Early mornings and dusk time (when this was shot) with cloudy overheads will make the grey look very dark. Direct sun and middle of the day turns it very light.

This car has made me realize what color car I want next :)
