We all have to start somewhere, and our latest featured member, Nick Roshon (AKA: nnnick), got his start early on. Nick grew up with auto enthusiasts in his family, ones who build and restore classic cars. That passion appears to have rubbed off on Nick, who has already managed to own and modify a few truly standout Audis.

If you ask around about nnnick you'll most likely be directed towards the B7 A4 section of Audizine where he spent a few years meeting fellow enthusiasts and scratching his itch for the mod bug. Fast-forward to today and you'll see that Nick has taken everything he's learned and plateaued unto the next level.

Nick picked up his first Audi back in 2008, an '06 A4 2.0T, entering himself into the world of Audi. He spent the next three years transforming it both aesthetically and performance wise. Without getting into too much detail he had one of the cleanest CVT front-wheel drive A4's to date. Fitted with an S4 front bumper with an S6 LED retrofit, S4 Door blades, S4 Platinum Recaros, and carbon fiber interior trim to name a few of the mods…but I digress. We're not here to talk about his A4. Having the thirst for all-wheel drive and a six-speed transmission, Nick eventually set out to replace his beloved A4 in for something else. Yep! The seats match it so well, I guess it makes sense. Always throws me off when I'm in an S4 with a black headliner though...

Not yet. It's super quiet. It sounds as if it could be an OEM "Sport" exhaust - louder than stock, but very tame compared to most aftermarket setups. I like it as a daily driver, zero drone, and nice subtle tones that gets more aggressive as you get more aggressive. Sometimes I wish it were louder, but other times I'm thankful its nice and mellow.

Experience, haha.

It was an awesome mod on the A4, but it was a ton of work, difficult to get the fitment 100% perfect (and I'm a bit OCD, so those small imperfections started chip away at me), expensive (and my setup got pretty banged up when I wrecked my A4), and also, I plan on eventually modding the engine more and they can get in the way of some engine mods. I know 10MPG went with the JHM intake manifold and had to remove his S6 LEDs to do this - I figure I'll eventually go this route, so better off not to hack up my bumper. Plus after having them for 2+ years on my A4, it was just time for a different look.

Hey Nick. I just stumbled across this write up. Nicely done. I was sad to see your silver A4 go, but the red S4 is lookin sharp as expected.

Thanks wildcat. Miss the A4 sometimes but the change was for the better. My A4 was a FWD automatic with the CVT transmission and I tracked it way too much for that tranny to handle. It was a ticking time bomb haha...
