Old member, new car 2012 Audi A6 Prestige Phantom Black w/Stassis Exhaust (Photos)

Bought this ride on May 19, 2012 and since then I've racked up 3,700 miles. One of the very few vehicles I've owned that i have no complaints about. I have the driver assistance, cold weather, 20" sport, and full L.E.D. headlights. I've added the Stassis exhaust last week and so far no complaints and enjoying the added engine responsiveness and performance.

Thanks everyone! Future mods so far will be whatever becomes available for the vehicle although I'm going to mod this car as cautiously as possible not to ruin the overall vehicle dynamics. Today I'm headed over to purchase a set of Brembo 380mm 6 piston GT kit, not sure if I should do yellow or red.

They don't it's actually for the A7 but it went on just fine on the A6.

They don't it's actually for the A7 but it went on just fine on the A6.

Good to know, because that's what I was looking to do with the A7 system AWE just released. Now that I know the STaSIS exhaust fits though...

It's a perfect fit and looks exceptional on the car. About the brake kit it's red but I'm still torn on the yellow set up.

How do you find the ride with the 20" Sport Package? I'm going to order a 2013 soon and like the 20" wheels much better than the 19" but am concerned about a harsh ride and more road noise. The roads around here are very good relative to most of the rest of the USA so maybe my concern is unfounded.

It definitely feels a bit choppy on rough pavement but not devastating or too bad in any way. Personally I find that it handles better and over certain bumps tends to be smoother and more solid with a greater amount of feedback. To everyone else thank you guys for appreciating my pride and joy.

Sweet Ride, and quick progress.... This is the first car i've owned, that I haven't began to mod since the day it left the dealership.... I usually modify the hell out of my cars, and get bored and sell them in 12 months...I'd like to keep the Audi, So i'm taking things slow...

You can never capture the sound of an exhaust on compressed video...but I have to ask the million dollar question... I've put high end exhaust systems on ALL of my Acura TL's, and no matter how great they sound... most of them have had a horrible cabin drone. Is there any cabin drone at all??? especially when cruising on the highway??

Also, What did you pay (if you dont mind me asking) for the Stasis exhaust? I keep seeing a $2200 MSRP, and quite frankly, i think thats ludicrous for a simple cat back exhaust....

I completely agree on keeping this car too. I've been through many cars myself but this is the first car I'm so satisfied with except the harshness of the suspension. I've driven on this exhaust for roughly 2000 miles and honestly I'm pretty happy with it. About the droning in the car it doesn't necessarily drone only a little under accelaration but it isn't too bad in any way. And yes that is the price I had to pay but I appreciate the warranty I'm receiving with the car.
