How rare is the S-Line package?

I am currently in the market for a B8 A4 and was set on finding one with S-Line, but it's proving incredibly difficult. There are only a few out there that I've found, so I assume it must be more rare than I thought it would be.

Does anyone have production numbers?

As an aside, I am looking for an A4 with at least the Prem+ package, black on black or grey on black, AT, and SLine w/Nav. If you have one (or know of one) for sale, please let me know. SLine and Nav aren't dealbreakers, though.

Dealer I used had 2011 P+, only a few P+ with Ti, and no S Line.

I ended up ordering mine as a MY 2012, Prestige, S Line.

I remember reading somewhere that Prestige S Lines only account for 3% of A4's sold.

No production numbers, but I see them all the time. I might be wrong, but I think Ti package is S-line suspension with 19 inch wheels. It is at least sport suspension. You don't get the alcantara seats, but you do get black headliner.

I would say not really rare at all as far as production. I think they'll make as many as AoA orders from Germany. How many have sold in comparo to non S line is the question but Audi doesn't publish sales numbers with that break out.

My guesstimate is one of out 10-15 A4's sold are S-Line.

Haha, forgot that one...shame on me since mine is a Ti! Ti Sport = S line suspension. I read somewhere that the sport suspension (S line and Ti) = S4 suspension? There's a B8 S4 that parks next to me at work and we're the exact same height and wheel gap.

So really, the difference between Ti and S-line is bumpers and alcantara come on s-line, but piano black and a black headliner come on Ti. I prefer the black headliner to bumpers. I think having a white headliner with all other interiors is lame.

In addition to the different bumpers and seats are the stone guards and the white stitching on the steering wheel, seats and shifter boot. I also prefer the black headliner but wish I had the S line bumpers too. I'll be adding the stone guards...maybe the rear bumper in the future.

My suggestion is to get yourself an auto broker and have them find you the model you're looking for. I did that with my current avant and was able to get what I wanted with almost $7k off the sticker.

Just got a 2011 Blk on Blk Avant with the Prestige package minus the 19" wheels. Would I of liked it would the S-line extras? Sure. It's an amazing machine without it though.

Just helped my sister pick/buy a B8 A4 black on black prestige avant with Ti 19 wheels and S-line w/ alcantara seats. It's the First time I saw a b8 A4 s-line in person and now its sitting on our yard haha. Don't have any chrome at all besides the audi emblem/logos, even the roof rails are black....such a sick car.

Such a coincidence how the dealer(I've been to this one more than 10 times) have it in stock when she was originally looking for just a premium plus A4 or Q5. So jealous =/

Here in Europe the S-line comes with black headliner as long as you pick S-line interior, so even cars that have the non S-line bumpers but S-line interior get black headliner.

Forgot to say, over here you rarely see what they call an S-line+ (S-line exterior + interior) most cars I come across are non S-line and only a handfull have the interior, with hardly any having the exterior.

In the UK S-line means interior and exterior (you can't have one without the other).

It's quite a high take up as when you go for an S-line other options get cheaper. e.g. S-line would give part leather so for full leather it's cheaper. I made economic sense for me to get the S-line as the overall cost with the options I wanted worked out cheaper than getting a non-S-line.

I wanted the S-line for the styling changes and Xenons anyway.

2009's are super rare as they were sold order only the majority of the year. 2010 things opened up a bit. Depending on what you want it may take awhile or a wide search area.

Thanks guys. I'm going to check out a 2011 P+ with 5k miles and nav this weekend locally. Asking is $37k, so we'll see where they go on price. I'll probably end up holding out until I find the perfect one.
