    You can probably use any brand.

    P.S. I don't recommend you take off the rubber buttons as I did... because I can't seem to get mine back on lol.

    Bump for a useful thread - just had mine go out and need to do this. Ordered the battery only Enegizer because it was Amazon Prime eligible, so $6 for 5 batteries including 2 day shipping, might as well do my spare key while I'm at it.

    My key buttons don't work after changing the battery. Or the flashing light doesn't come on, new battery.

    All you need to do is insert the key into the door and turn the knob, start the car press the unlock/lock buttons and everything should work again.

    I have the same issue and tried that but still no lights on fob.
    I checked the connections they seem okay
