    How is the side intercooler getting any airflow without a vented driver's side fog grille?

    They are so close - it really needs a S4 bumper and grille to complete it.

    EDIT: I now see that they did vent the fog grilles, but wouldn't they just add the S bumper and grille? I guess it is the ultimate sleeper the way it is now....

    Is these customer fog grills? Perhaps a standard driver side S5 fog grill with some mesh behind it while the passenger side fog grill looks like it was modified too.

    Any idea what this took labor wise or just what went into it?? Buying/Bought an S4 and seeing how cheap B8/8.5 Avants are getting... feel like it’s becoming a more feasible option? Thinking you order an S4 Avant harness from Europe and do the swap over a month or two in a garage?

    I just worry about passing emissions in California and all the legal crap the state would do. Yes, the S4 engine and exhaust can pass emissions, but I wonder if their illogical computers could handle the idea of that engine in a wagon.

    Depends on how much time you put into getting it done. I did my swap in my garage in about three weeks doing about 6+hr days. No need for a european harness. You can check out my thread here: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...-S4-Conversion

    You can have your swap certified in California. My understanding is, as long as the swap is from the same year or newer and all emissions controls are functional, it should be approved.
