Bodykit options for the A3 Sportback

So here's a list of the bodykit options I've come across so far for the new A3 Sportback. Put them all up in the new A3/S3 page of the AZ Gallery as well. Feel free to add pics of other kits, or other photos of these kits that you've come across.

Going to start a new Thread relating to bodykits for the 3-door version too.

I'm a big fan of clean and subtle sportiness, with OEM usually being the way I tend to go. So far it's looking like Votex will be my choice.

Anyway, here are the options...

Abt

Caractere

Nothelle

Oettinger

Rieger

Votex

The Votex and Rieger are hawt but I don't really like the Rieger rear valance all that much. I'd have to go with Votex too.

When are you going to put your order in? Are you going to keep your sweet VR GTI?

abt or votex.. The rest of them are just too "out there" rieger front is ok, rear is just horrible (as usual with rieger).

If all goes according to plan, my brother will take over my GTI. He currently has a 2.0 MkIII GTI, and loves my car. Hope to place the order for one in the coming weeks.

If I do get the A3 the Nothelle kit will be on it for sure!!!! It's a widebody but looks close to stock. I bet you could run 18x10s with a fat lip all the way around

Oettinger and Rieger looks pretty good to me. Votex rear looks interesting as well tho.

The Oettinger may just be a PhotShop...it is pretty mean looking though. Have yet to see pics of the rear for the Sportback.

i like the Votex myself... i caught my breath when i saw this pic... thought it was a B7A4 Avant... until someone pointed out the license plate to me...

i would mold the "wings"/"winglets", whatever they're called, to the bumper so that it looks all one piece, somehow get ride of the license plate holder and have just a one piece front grille, like the Allroad concept... that would be hot...

colour... papaya orange... then black the hell out of it...

they are alll soo nice, I had my eye on a b7 a4, but now this getting me to consider these HOT HOT a3s, all the kits kick a$$

The votex and Oettinger are really nice looking. I do like the rear on the Caractere though.

Like Foo said, Oettinger cuz it blends smoothly in with the car. The rest look out of place like throwing on a bunch of panels or something. Some make the car look too fat or to tall. The votex is clean, but getting to the point of too busy looking.

The Oettinger is NOT a Photochop...it's ON the Oettinger website, so it's real.

For me personally, Oettinger, then Votex. =) But more pictures of the Oettinger would be nice. The Votex kit is definitely hot!

I HIGHLY doubt a company like Oettinger would put a photochop picture on there website under their model line. Seems like a little bit of false advertising...don't ya think? And the way Oettinger body kits have ALWAYS looked in the front grill area over the years, it fits their design. Reminds me a bit of the 2002-5 A4/S4 kit.

hmm.. the only thing i like out of any of those
images in the reiger front.. and im stretching the
term like even with that..
seems the best as usual will be stock on the body
until there are S3 parts available...

To those who are sure on the fact that the Oettinger IS NOT a PSHOP i'm afraid to say that IT IS A PSHOP, I was told so by Oettinger staff, I know one of the owners' wife...sorry but for now its just a Pshop and you can spot it...

Actually its a Pshop of the new A3 2door front...

{it comes with or without fogs...}

and yes that is hot, this kit is why I wanted an A3 2door before...

the reiger rear looks like it crapped it's pants and they're sagging past it's knees.

oettinger looks decent, others look poo.

That's the typical look of Reiger kits. Some like it some don't. Personally, not a fan. Too rear heavy.

You don't like the Votex kit, Scott? I like it, except maybe the rear...will have to see.

I'm upset with Caracteres body kit. Their kit for the B6 A4 was amazing, best front bumper for the car but the Sportback kit is fugly! I'd like to see Sportec kit

Wow, thanks for clarifying about the Oettinger. It does look different. Has that edge on it on the two-door. I like things smooth with no edges and such (bumper cover look). That sportec is VERY clean. I like it!
