Hello all!

I decided to create a build log / photo log for my B9 S4. I'll update it as regularly as I can.

To start off, this is the spec

The oem summer tires weren't going to cut it here in Chicago so the first mod was a no brainer.

After 2 days of ownership, the new winter wheels and tires were on.

Wheels:
18x9 et 32 - TRmotorsport C4

Tires:
245/40/18 - Michelin X-ICE XI3

Being an avid skiier, I needed a set of roof rails for the S4.

I went with Thule 480R feet, 1819 fit kit, 53" Black Wing Blades. The cargo box is a Thule Atlantis 2100 XT.

The next two happened relatively around the same time.

I got the windows tinted by 5 Star Window tinting in New Lenox, IL. They did an awesome job. 35% S7 Carbon Ceramic all around, 50% Carbon Ceramic windshield.

Followed by an RS Style Grill from ModBargains. I do not advise going with this model. I ran into problem after problem with this and it just wasn't worth it. There are other companies out there that I would have chosen if I knew it was going to be such a headache.

Overall, it still looks good. I have a brushed front emblem on the way as well instead of the oem chrome.

The next is one of my favorites and currently on the way. Sold the OEM 19's and have a set of BC Forged incoming!

Getting the tires mounted tomorrow but I’m debating mounting them on the car. Illinois weather is the worst. Snowed last night and suppose to be 50’s. Might wait a week or two, idk. Will definitely update with pictures!

Well the wheels are currently put on hold. I went to install them today and ran into a problem I should have foreseen.

The wheels were spec’d for an RS3 and the hub bore was drilled for precisely that. Due to my own ignorance, the S4 hub bore is larger. Now I have to hopefully find someone that can redrill them to fit...

I see your local.... It's probably liability issue... Anyways, many years ago my uncle had his wheels re-drilled or re-bored the center hub on his BMW, and I'm not mistaken it somewhere in Mokena, IL.

Whomever Supreme sent them to at the time did mine. We ended up sending them straight to them then back to the east coast.

I see the OP is Chicago. I'm just about to touch down at O'Hare!

There is a shop in Michigan that did the same redrill work for user VinnyDTM. Might want to try reaching out to him.

Well a little bit of an update.

Been super busy these past few weeks but I decided on keeping the wheels. I found someone in MI that I will be taking them to get re-drilled. A big thanks to Mops and Vinny for the help. I was very close to parting ways.

Unfortunately I wont be able to get out there for about a week or so.

In the mean time, I got to try out my new camera and here are some shots of my current winter set up. Enjoy!

Thanks man! They have grown on me quite a bit. Great fitment and even a little concave. For the price I have no complaints. The finish is a little tricky to get completely clean though.
