I have only owned this car for a month and my addiction to making every vehicle I own unique has hit me. So far I have bought an APR Turbo Back Side Exit RSC Exhaust w/RocEuro O2 Spacer, Ecode Front Mount Intercooler Kit, RS4 Style Grill, and a P3 Gauge w/APR boost tap. Not all of it has come in as of yet. I have had the opportunity to install the weathertech floor mats, trunk liner, tint, H&R OE Sport Springs, STaSIS rear sway bar, and the seat drawers. I plan on installing everything else next weekend when it comes in. I am pretty excited to begin this build. As of now, there still isn't a tune available for the '14's as of yet, so no tune for me. I do plan on waiting a while before getting a tune as I do not want to kill a brand new vehicle's warranty already. Here are some pictures from the installs as well as pictures I took today with a buddy's GTI....

It was extremely easy. I didn't even take the seats out. I took the two small screws out of the hinge and popped the drawer off. Installed the base then popped the drawer back in, the the screws. Pretty straight forward.

This is what I did as well. I tried without taking the drawer off but there was no way the screw would go in. It looks like you have fully electrical seats? I have manual sport seats and the drawer I have is much shorter than yours. Just enough room for a microfiber cloth but not much else.

Yes I do have fully electrical seats. I was under the impression they were all the same size.

Ha! There was a brand new '13 in NC but that dealer wanted way too much. They were asking $44k for a leftover. Nuts!!!

Your car looks awesome. Those springs are going to settle a lot more. I have about 10,000 miles on mine and it dropped another 3/4" from where you are. Im selling mine shortly as i want to go a bit lower.... Just purchased solo werks coilovers.

Finally got the exhaust installed. Love the sound! Can't say I feel any more power yet though....can't wait for APR to release a chip....

Removed the O2 spacer today...let's hope it keeps my CEL off. It was on there with the APR HFC and I had a 13f 13e and a separatic 0420. This is my only idea to keep it off.

Hit up unitronic. They did a tune for my 13 and it's awesome. Huge difference.

So the APR software is available for the B8.5 now. Think I am going to wait for their fall sale and go straight to stage 2. Kinda sceptical getting a tune as I am only at about 3500 miles. I am also going to get the JHM short shifter in the next couple of weeks....I am hoping that going stage 2 will make me a bit more happy with the car. Ever since I got rid of my Evo, I have been missing the power it had! Has anyone been tuned then had it flashed back to stock for warranty work and not get TD1?

No it was actually extremely easy. I used ecodes FMIC instructions to remove the bumper, and ecstuning's instructions for the grill. Very straight forword and easy!
