Detailer's Domain's new project car - 01 Audi S4 - Nogaro/Nogaro

Many of the original members know I have been around for some time now.

I've had 2 00 S4's one in Nogaro - stolen and another one to replace it shortly after.

my much beloved Nogaro

Audiworld post on it being stolen.

Here is the light silver one

This is one car that I really missed for years now. Fast forward to about fall of 2012, I had the opportunity to pick up this 01 S4 Nogaro/Nogaro.

Picked up the car from a customer and forum member with 72k miles on it

Everything looked good maintenance was all there, interior was in great shape, best of all it has never been modded less wheels - BBS CH's , dimming rearview camera with compass, and eibach springs and konis.

Here are the pics of the pick up.

I figured the maintenance was all done with receipts and all records, the exterior however needed some work. I figured front and rear bumpers needed to be resprayed, and dents would be removed from the dent wizard.

Boy was I wrong! Subscribe and check out the updates!

thanks guys this will be an interesting one, I want to bring this 01 back to or close to what I had before it was stolen.

Stg 2, on coilovers, big brakes, short shift kit etc.

As you can see with the photos above the body was in rough shape.

if its a kick ass offer sure but when you see the invoice for paint you will go forget it lol.

I highly doubt that... i've been looking for a mint nogaro with low mileage forever. New paint with refurbished CH's (the wheels I want)... i would be willing to say fuck it and pay.

Fix her up and keep it! I'm trying to keep mine in really great shape now that I don't drive it as my only car anymore. It's nice to have these things as a hobby on the side rather than a DD.

You still have the B8 also, right?

still have the B8 but man 4 years of ownership is very long for me, just got 20's for it and the aluminum trim package, I'm getting bored of it ; ) the b5 will keep me busy.

I may have you beat for financial cluster-screwups, but the worst ownership period I've managed was with the miata which I think I only had for 4-5 months. Everything since the B5 has turned over in a year or less.

the body shop doing the full exterior restoration is Final Touch Collision in West NY, NJ - Ask for Robert Tusell, owner.
