Car is now brown since monday. We'll let it dry for one week then spend some time polishing it before putting it back together. Should be running next week ;)

I got my car back tonight. I just can't find the words to describe the job my bodyman did. I'll go take some pictures with a close friend tomorrow after my work and post them here. But honestly other than one more 1/2 inche of drop I wouldn't change anything to the car, it's just perfect right now.

the most funny part, I was supposed to get charged 1500$ for the job..... finally, after painting the car, 1 3/4 gallon of clear, installing a new windshield, re finishing the headlamp... he asked me to keep the car some more time and decided to spend some days to polish the car, 2000 dry, 2000 with water, 3000 with water, 3 compounds with 3 different pads and paste, dry polishing and that one body part at the time, then waxing the whole car, detailing the inside and engine bay....

He made a invoice only charged 1300$ plus taxes all included!!

Car was lowered of 1/2" in the front and 1/4" in the rear today, i would have loved to pit it way lower (still plenty of space on the CO) but the roads in Quebec really suck

I'll get it evaluated tomorrow for the insurance as it's still insured as a 6000$ A4 :S , I wonder how much it's gonna worth for them

Received my drag radials and installed 034 rear diff carrier last week, it seem like I have a boost leak somewhere, I'll get it pressure tested this week and then I'll have no more excuse to don't go do some quarter miles runs next sunday ;)

My boost leak came from my badly cracked intercooler... I had it fixed localy and bring the car to my bodyman(Tithon) so we reinstalled it and I had him install my license plate lights at the same time. When i picked up my car today, I had him for a ride and he had his camera. when I came home I had a mail from him with a link to a small video he made, enjoy

these were my first 5 lauches since I had the car back from Mike Rombotis, not the best shifting but at least the clutch don't spin at all

yeah but also 2 tial 44mm external wastegates, at full boost you can't really hear the ASP exhaust ;)

car was down for blown K03 in 2006 and they've been replaced by GT2554, these were changed for Guruman's agtronic GT28RS turbo kit this spring by Rombotis tuning... 3000kms on the setup so far and no blown turbo yet

Routed external, right? Sounds sick, but glad I chose re-routed back to the downpipes for a daily driver.

seriously, on normal driving the wastegate are almost always closed and the car is not that loud, it's great for a daily this way... it just sound sick when you beat the car

september 26 I'll be at Pont Rouge for sure, somewhere near Montreal on september 25 lol... but I have a guy from Eurotuner who may shoot the car that week end, I'll have to chose if I race or if I jump on that occasion to give some credit to the people who worked on the car in a nice magazine... not going to do both the same week end, not using the same wheels

Having the same wastegate setup, I agree. Even at low boost (13psi), and basically the 44's opening up at anything over 3500rpm, it wasn't bad. Now, at 22psi, the wastegates remain closed until 4200ish or so only when beating on it, sounds great!, not overly loud in everyday driving.

Me too. I can't wait to burn those tires. The more i think of it, the more i believe the torque is gona be bad a$$.
