Car has lived most of it's life in Denver, CO and has stayed stock for all of it's life with the only exceptions being 19 inch wheels, lowering springs, a grille, black emblems, side markers, and an aftermarket touch screen with a sound system. A lot of recent maintenance makes me trust this car for a very long time including a recent clutch replacement, Timing belt at roughly 50000 miles, Brake booster and the whole AC system at 88,600, A timing belt at 50,000 miles, and the turbocharger, oil separator, and oil filter housing being recently replaced. Clutch was replaced at 103,000 and converted to single mass for ease of replacement and reliability. With a clean carfax and being a special edition model and relatively low mileage with all the big ticket items taken care of, it really makes a reliable daily. VIN: WAUDF78E68A167393
Some flaws would include the shifter bushing or slightly worn synchro, as the car takes ~ half a second to go into second and you would have to be gentle with it, no grinds or lock outs, but just takes a little bit. The power steering groaning at full lock would be another one, the entire rack was replaced at about 104,000, but I really can't seem to pinpoint the issue down to something specific. Some rock chips on the front bumper, and the bumpers not being a perfect color match, and a big scuff on the rear bumper.
My loss is your gain as I recently bought a newer car and this car really does not get driven and I would rather have it in the hands of someone that drives it more and enjoys the car how it was meant to be enjoyed, would be happy to provide a video walkaround of the car currently. It is sitting on A6 stocks as pictured and would provide a set of 17s along with the car. Would like to sell locally but can arrange shipping if taken care of by the buyer.
