For sale is my 2014 Audi S4 that has been tastefully modified. Below are the specifics of the car which would be supported by my manilla envelope of chronological maintenance and modification work done to the car. I’m the third or fourth owner of the car and have had it for 6 years now. The timing chains & guides were done along with upgrading to a Ringer Racing S3 Clutch and Flywheel in January 2023 (about 8k miles ago @102K miles) at the cost of around $12K. Only selling to thin out my Audis and jump into P-cars. The SC intercoolers, PCV, water pump and Carbon Cleaning have all been done within the last 15K miles. The goal with the car was to keep it forever but something else has caught my eye that will suit our family needs better. I work from home so the car barely moves now and has had hardly any miles put on it in the last 4 years. I always swap to dedicated seasonal tires and wheels while all of my tires having been replaced within the last 15K miles split over multiple spring/summer and fall/winter seasons, so all are wearing properly and have plenty of tread. Ignore any carbon parts like grille accents or spoilers that were once on the car but no longer are - just incase you see a spoiler in an image.

trying to keep these two ads in sync

It’s been brought to my attention in PMs that the front passenger seat looks like it’s scratched up and that was correct before I did some minor repairs with colourlock before they became nearly impossible to find. Below are before and after images of the seat now.

Today I’ll make a cheat sheet for a new owner of what you need to order when it comes to replacement consumables like brake pads, rotors, coolant, etc with the mods I’ve made to the car. Easy stuff that I can remember but a new owner may not think about like 345mm front rotors won’t work and you need 375mm rotors, or that it takes a bit over a gallon of coolant thanks to the HX upgrade.

Additionally, I found a box full of parts both old and new parts that will be included. It has fresh one time use TTYL bolts for the suspension, axel bolts, a variety of other hardware, old headlight bulbs that are still good, the colourlock system I used for the leather seat, my original SC pulley and belts, the original suspension (in another box), and things like extra door panel clips or the belly pan dowel pins are included.


Last, the price is OBO and we can discuss if you don’t want things like 3 sets of wheels, but I’m not planning on parting out anything left over until the car is gone and the new owner takes whatever they want that I originally intended to be sold with the car.

Please ask any questions or set up a time to come see her. I hate to have her sit around which reminds me; she got a new AGM H9 950CCA battery after I came home from a few weeks in Australia and a dead car in October 2024.

I really appreciate that because when we care about things like maintenance, documentation, and modifications, then I just can’t understand how some of the cars listed here ever sell here with the quality of some of the classified ads. Meaning, ads that lack pertinent information like mileage, vin, location (although I forgot to add it to mine originally), or my biggest pet peeve without images. Please don’t get me wrong this forum is real wonky with the image uploads and has been for the 10 years I’ve been here which should change and could make it easier on everyone, but instead we’ll just say you did it wrong and to get an app over just fixing the site (I’m a product manger for a SaaS company, I understand that small issues get brushed aside when there’s a work around, but 10+ years of tech debt here with workarounds and no fix means there’s no plans to fix it - other forums work flawlessly without an app, and why can’t AZ? The UX would be so much better and a lot less moderating that this ad isn’t complete - shoot form the ads so the required details must be present before submission).

Sorry for the long winded, tangented thank you - you’ve touched on exactly what I wanted to be the opposite of.

The car is now listed on Autotrader if you’d like to obtain a current copy of a history report - otherwise, listing there has brought nothing but scammers my way. I can’t list on Cars.com because even with the Monroney label they want to say that a prestige manual S4 doesn’t exist to sell. Additionally, with this weather and our cold temps I’m going to be forced to drive the car soon.
