Air ride to coilover kit options (is anyone familiar with these options)

When changing my mounts and control arms, I accidentally popped an air line while heating the hub to remove the pinch bolt. I bought a patch kit to fix it, but I wondered if I could just change everything over to coilovers. I hate how the front of the car lifts when accelerating or turning, and I think coilovers would resolve that issue. I really wanted performance coilovers and I know they have them for the c7 a6 which should fit the s6. When researching I've seen a video of someone doing the delete for the a8 (see video below) and they said they had something to get rid of the code. I wasn't sure if it was like a dummy sensor plug in or something done in VCDS. I sent him a message to ask about it, and I'm waiting on a response . I saw strutmaster made a kit (not to familiar with their brand), but when i read the 1 review, it stated it did not actually come with anything to get rid of fault code. I still asked them about it to be sure, and I'm waiting for a response. I saw BC racing say they have a kit that fits the car, so I asked them about it and waiting for their answer.

While I wait on answers, just wanted to make this post to see if anyone had any experience with these options, or know of a way to get rid of the air suspension error code when switching over.

I know a few people have done this on the S6/S7 (or added aftermarket air ride which essentially means you need the same fix). I believe it's done in ODIS, it's a little more complicated than just Vagcom, but certainly possible. There are a few in Florida who have done it. Sorry I'm blanking on names right now.

The light wouldn't be bad, but the ACC won't work with an air suspension fault, so that'd be frustrating.

I would possibly consider just rocking with the light, but i didnt know it would affect ACC. I dont use it much, but it is nice to have for road trips. I actually have the light on now. I was recently changing engine mounts and control arms. I needed heat to take out pinch bolt and went a little over board and popped the line. I turned the car on while the line still had a hole and got a critical air fault where it said not to go over 35 mph. As I was wrapping up the install I cut out the whole and put in a press in fitting, It seemed to fix the line but the fault is there and that corner is halfway its normal ride height. I heard I had to get it cleared in VAGCOM, which made me question if its possible to delete or de-activate the air suspension all together.

It has to be coded out. Is it possible? Yes, Is it worth it? Thats for you to decide. You are probably better off fixing your air suspension as it would be cheaper. There are about a handful or less of people that I know of who know how to properly code out the air suspension and waaaay too many people jumping up to install the coilovers. If you dont code it out it will be tripped out thinking everything is wrong because the level control communicates with ABS, headlights, ESP etc and other parts of the car that you need to tell that it does not have air suspension anymore.
