Audi Exclusive Exterior Color Available on RS3?

I am interested in ordering a 2025 RS3 in Audi Exclusive color. I am getting conflicting information from dealers as to AE availability for the RS3. Would any be be able to confirm if AE is available?

Only a dealer would know, the window is open for a limited amount of time....considering we dont even know details or price for the 2025 models yet, I dont think anyone can tell us when AE will be available.

They got some interesting colors across the pond for 2025. They don't seem to be AE paints, but they're $4k. You can see them when you're building a car on the site. I'm guessing we won't see anything like that in the states though.

Understood that things can change from year to year. Let me reframe the question. Would you be able to confirm if AE has been available on RS3s in past years for the US market?

Yes. It's very rare, but possible. Theres usually a window to get in on an AE order. Most dealers don't know what they're doing with AE colors.

Anyone know if selecting a AE color has netted them a higher resale value? Because $4k is a bit steep. I think I'd rather the carbon ceramic brakes for that price and stick to trusty Black paint

You won't recoup that $5900 on this platform if thats what you are looking for. It might sell for a little more than the equivalent standard color depending what AE color you choose but it can also negatively affect it if its not a good color choice.

Totally agree. Not complaining this is a waste of money (buying a car 99% of the time is a waste of money) but a personal choice, I was just considering the carbon ceramic brakes as a better value-add instead of the AE paint.

Neither an AE color nor CB's will necessarily increase resale value. At least CB's are "functional" option. If you track the car, probably worth it over the AE.

Makes sense. BTW what does the carbon Ceramic brake option cost? I don't see it as an option on the 2024 build spec.

It's not a standalone option, it's part of the "Dynamic Plus Package". Higher top speed, CCBs, carbon engine cover. I think it's a bit over $5k. Was taken away as an option in 2024 because of the ceramic brake shortages Audi had.

Ahh ok. Makes sense because when I selected it on the build sheet it didn't come up as included.

Been seeing that ccbs are not living up to the promises of longer life and better performance. Running costs of 4x those of steel brakes on some platforms, and not good for a street car unless you really care about the look more than cold braking performance.

Yeah. I think they're more hype than they're worth on *this* platform. The steel brakes are pretty damn good IMO.

Carbon ceramics have pros and cons but they will usually last the life of the car with NORMAL driving, definitely no track driving. It's counterintuitive but CCBs are much better for daily driving than track because of the cost of rotor replacements, and heat characteristics and feel of steel brakes usually being preferred over CCBs for the track. They also have virtually no brake dust which is great for a DD. I had CCBs on a previous Porsche of mine and actually loved them BUT I wouldn't see the value in buying them as a package with a new car, only as an option on a certified one.

I have heard this comment of "need to place AE order while the window is open" many times. Is this window usually open when a new MY goes on sale? Or is it just random? Curious what others have experienced if they placed AE orders. I am #1 on my local RS3 list and would also like to roll the dice and try to get an AE order done as well.
