    Hi everyone,

I am aware there's a big thread on this however it seems like I'm mostly coming across Sedans.
I have an S3 3 Door. I have 19" wheels Et40 8.5J no spacers and I'm experiencing rubbing on dips in the road and other driving scenarios.

I wanted to find out what everyone else wheel specs are that doesn't rub and images please.

    Thank you

Well...this forum is based in the USA...so...there are mostly sedans here in the USA.

Many people have already posted their wheel and tire combinations here:

    https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...el-Thread-(S3)

You don't state what size tire is on your wheels....so we have to assume the tire is what's rubbing and not the wheel?

I can tell you from your wheel spec's you posted ET40 maybe the wrong offset. But this greatly depends on the tire size. My 19x8.5 wheels are ET35...no rubbing...

A name brand of the wheel would also help...

Where are they rubbing at on the car? Up front? In the back?

The back is easily fixable by adding in some camber.

The more information you post...the better someone might be able to help.

    Thanks for your reply.
    It's 19" and the tyre is 235/35/19
The back is rubbing predominantly and minor rubs in front. I would assume ET35 would be worse as it'll stand out more.
I think the arches are different to the sedan.

It's on coilovers about a small finger space gap between arch and tyre.

I think the sportback and the 3 door have the same arches.

    Here's my sedan on 19x8.5 ET35 with H&R springs no fender gap...no rubbing with a 245/35/19.

I can say that tyre manufacturers make tyres different. My Nankang 245s didnt rub but my Continental 245's did rub in the back.

So what name brand tyre is on the car?

The SportBack looks to have less protruding outward arch's...

Aftermarket wheels. It is poking out as well but not much
    .
    Tyres is Bridgestones.

Your car looks good. Wheels are nice 👌 definitely seems like Seda s alow for a more aggressive fit.

Thanks for this. Highlight there is that he is stock height, so he can get away with more.
