Stage 3 2MOER10S Brisk Plugs - Anyone running them?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Enough time has passed for some people to use these plugs. Any opinions or reviews? I am O34 Stage 3 TTE710 running E60 and have zero issue with OEM plugs so far. Anyone made the jump to 2MOER10S? What is the consensus on evening needing these, as my understanding is they run roughly the same temp.

They look like a completely unremarkable nickel silver alloy plug. I have back issues of popular mechanics from the 1950s and 60s with ads selling miracle spark plugs using the same technology. You could not pay me to run them.

I run stock plugs, stock gap, at 43psi of boost - relative. I’ve found this to produce the best spark in comparison to several other plugs and gap lengths that I have tried.

same, although since the APR stage3 kit doesnt use a 4 bar map, im guessing its 30psi or under.

Yeah, can’t comment on that. Probably 27psi region or so I imagine, gives some margin for not tripping the map sensor limit.

In any case, we agree stock NGK are fine. Iridium alloy tips are both more resistant to high temps and pressure, AND more conductive than any nickel alloy. I dont care if its silver, yttrium, or fucking unobtainium.

Stock NGKs are the way to go, nothing else seems to work reliably. I'm running mine at 0.022" on TTE 710 with 034 tuning. Likely we're finding not much better, because the stock plugs are already very cold plugs. So our aftermarket choices are basically going to be various niche racing plugs. Not to mention NGK plugs are high quality in general and I've had nothing but issues with niche plugs from smaller brands for prior builds, which is of course not proof of anything for a specific platform/tune, but anecdotally NGKs have never been "the problem" for me. Also I know AldermanToffee has tried what seems like every potential plug option under the sun, so if he's having success with stock plugs on his extreme full frame build that's a great data point.

I concur "oesman" that NGKs are the way to go. Running the stock NGKs at 30psi of boost, gapped them at 0.022" and changing out every 10k miles. Together with 034 ignition coils in 70k miles never had one single missfire or any issues ignitons wise.

In my 30 years of tuning experience I can say that sometimes we try to improve something - like looking for better sparks - but we then make it in the end worse than stock.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, very good info. What is the intervals everyone who is Stage 3 is doing? I see 10k mentioned here, as well as 7k on other forums. Opinions?

We require Brisk 2MOER10S for all of our Stage 3 ECU tunes. We've run Brisk plugs in all of our development cars which see normal road miles, as well as development work (constant dyno sessions, track use, etc) without issue. They are a racing plug, and thus carry a similar lifespan for optimal use, especially given the fact that these cars are running nearly double the factory output with Stage 3 files. We recommend 3-7k mile intervals, essentially with your oil changes.

We've not had any issues having these idle smoothly with a proper plug gap.
