    OBDEleven vs Carly

I have searched around and it hard to find someone who has had both. My Service Needed Light just came on and Im out of credits with OBDEleven. In the past on previous vehicles, I just use to watch ads to earn credits when I got low. They took that feature away. Now what it will cost me to buy a decent amount of credits, I can basically buy a completely unlocked Carly that will work on several vehicles (Friends / Family).

Does anyone have both? Can you speak on which you like better as far as features, coding, etc. I really like OBDEleven checks and clearing of general errors. It has saved me a ton of money in the past on previous vehicles. One case being when my AC went out and the shop wanted $200 to diagnose, OBDEleven told me it was a $15 pressure sensor that was bad, that I replaced myself.

They charge you money to clear ECU codes? That's insane. I've never heard of the Carly but it also seems overpriced.

I got a VEEPEAK OBDCheck from Amazon for $40 CAD. Works on every car and clears codes just fine. My older Bluetooth OBD2 dongle actually caused a CEL on my other car, but I haven't had any issues with this one.
I use it with the Torque app on my Android phone without any issues.

You can't do any coding with it as far as I know, but works well for diagnosing and clearing codes. You can also use it with the Torque app as a secondary dash for extra gauges if you like.

Its more stuff like the 40,000 Mile Service Notification that really only the dealership is suppose to clear, not just standard ECU codes. Standard codes you can clear for free.

The coding is more the real benefit, its just OBDEleven wants to charge credits for everything, seems Carly includes all this.

OBD 11 has more features than Carly, but if you're just trying to clear the maintenance minder, you can pay $10 for a week subscription to Carly to get rid of the reminder.

I ended up ordering a Carly, with lifetime access to all vehicles. That way I can clear out friend's cars, etc in the future.

I will keep my OBDEleven, but even now currently with the B9.5 the options are limited on changes that can be made.
