Wheel size for replacing the 20x9 with 265/30/R20 tires

I have a new S5 with the black optics package that gives me 20x6 wheels with 265/30/R20 tires. I've bought a set of Continental DSW06 Plus tires in size 255/35/R19 which normally comes with the car. I'm not a huge fan of running 8.5" wide wheels with 255/35/R19 tires, but I'm having a hard time finding much in the 19x9 size and may have to go with 9.5" wide rims. That has me concerned that they might look stretched however, although Continental does list this tire's rim widths from 8.5 to 10.

Does anyone here run 9.5" wide rims on their S5 with the stock tire size? If so, I'd like to know what you think of its aesthetics.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if i'm following you - but all I can say is Conti's run narrow, case in point is how the 265s look on your current 20x9 wheels....stretched! So, if you don't want to carry that over to the 19" wheels you're purchasing then definitely don't do a 9.5" wide.

Thanks. I think you are correct.

Will continue looking for a 19x9 for the 255/35/R19 DSW06 Plus tires.

I have this exact setup on the rear of my other car. 255/35/R19 Continental DWS06+ on 19x9.5 wheel. Here's how it looks

When I was considering 19" wheels for my RS5, I found that 19x9 ForgeStar CF5 is an option.

Allegedly, the BBS SR033 18x9 wheel will clear the larger RS5 brake calipers also.

    There is a Audi OEM 10 spoke 19x9 ET=24, Audi A5, RS5, S5 Wheel/Rim Silver Polished #8T0601025BG: https://www.hubcaphaven.com/p/21423/...0601025bg.html

Forgestar is a great option. They do the F14, CF5, CF5V and CF10 in 19x9. They offer custom offsets as well.

    Happy to chat. 👍🏼

We bought a set of Forged One FF10 in 19x9 ET32 for my wife's S5. Very light and very reasonably priced for a forged wheel. These are mounted with some 265/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport all-season.

We still run the OEM 20" black optic wheels in summer but switched to the 275/30/tires that I originally had on my RS5.

I looked at those, but the site (Discount Tire) showed them at almost 31lbs each! Looking at Forge One's site just now though, they are showing up under 20lbs each. Thinking they were heavy I placed an order for one of these as CarID said these (Curva CFF300 flow forged) are 25lbs each (reasonable). I'll see how it looks in person and if it's good, order three more. If not, I may go with the Forge Ones. Thanks!

I looked at those but didn't see any on their site in the right bolt pattern.

If you are concerned with weight you could consider something like the Apex VS-5RS. For that model they have 19x9 +25 and 19x9.5 +25.
    The 19x9 only weights 18.7lbs.

They're fully forged but cheaper than forged wheels from bigger brands. Super popular with the BMW crowd. I'm considering the 19x9.5 for my S5.

They’re all custom bolt pattern and offset. And they offer a ton of finishes standard.
