TGK Motorsports seemed to hit the ground running with a ton of support for the C7/8 and D4 platforms. An @ignitiontube video featuring their lowering links is how I first found out about the company and prior to the sway bars, I am still running their lowering links on the car to this day at the lowest setting without any issues.
Communication with them was awesome. At the time of ordering there were some stock issues where the end links were listed as preorder and the bars were in stock. The company reached out to me shortly after I placed my order to inform me that the endlinks were in stock but the mounting hardware was due to arrive and that my order would ship out as soon as it arrived. 10/10 for providing updates and addressing anything that might have come up.
Support from them was also incredible. I used another guide to familiarize myself with the process but wanted to make sure that there weren't any steps that would be unique to these bars that would be different. I reached out to them multiple times with questions and was met with a very timely response within a few hours of inquiry, every single time. Truly one of the benefits of working with a smaller company in my opinion is the support provided is much more personal and not a stepwise generic response.
Fast forward a week and the bars finally arrive. First impressions are DAMN these things are heavy. Compared to the stock bars these upgrades are hefty and best of all they are SOLID. I haven't seen other bars yet but the quality of these are on point. Powedercoat didn't have any damage and they were ready to go in. Moving onto the endlinks, these were originally what caught my attention. TGK motorsports decided to use spherical bearings on the endlinks instead of rubber like OE and on some of the other end links i've seen. Full adjustability on both front and rear endlinks. Again, another solid product offered from them.
Install was pretty simple. I had access to a lift and a mechanic which made it much easier than doing it on jack stands or on the ground but it doesn't seem impossible. The rear bar does take some finessing to get out due to the exhaust but it is doable. A little bit of caution is required when taking the mounts off for the bars as there's some load/tension and the bar snaps at you. What's a little different with the TGK product is the front bars reuse the OEM caps. New bushings are provided but the cap and hardware are reused from stock. The rear bars have new bushings and mounting caps.
So the most important part of this whole thing, how do they feel? Nothing short of fantastic. Coming from an A3 with a 034 motorsports upgraded rear swaybar and inserts, the SQ5 doesnt feel as planted (expected) but definitely feels as responsive if not more to turns with almost all body roll eliminated. I made sure to push it into the tightest turns and corners that I could find on my daily commute and it did not disappoint.
In summary, here's an option for the b9 SQ5 community that's made from an enthusiast for enthusiasts. A quality product at a price point that's lower than the other big brand option currently available. It performs extremely well and would definitely recommend considering it as an option for anyone upgrading their suspension.
