    Validating Relay Numbers Help Please

    Hi Everyone
I have a 2008 Audi A4 2.0TDI Cabriolet that has had the usual water flood by the ecu and I would be grateful if someone can just confirm the relay numbers for me.
I have a 457 which I think is the glow plug relay?
A 614 relay which I think is the ECU relay?and should this be replaced with a 644 relay? as I heard it was an upgrade?
A 404 relay which I think is the fuel pump relay?

If I am wrong I apologise in advance as I don't have a workshop manual to hand
I did notice that there is another 404 relay under the dash not sure what this for yet and whether I could use it to help start the car as the top one is broken as I am in a no start situation although it will fire with a bit of easy start then die so any help would be very welcome.
I have added photos to help
I removed the 404 relay next to the 614 relay before I took the photo to test it

Are there any diagrams or drawings on this site that I can check?

The diagrams just use the audi nomenclature like J271 and J757, not the number on the relay.

Thank you for the link and I think I have a similar situation I just want help with identifying the relay numbers. The ecu info on the attached link was good to know and like you my 404 relay is faulty. But is would be good to know precisely what the other 2 do. I still think the 457 is for the glow plugs and I hope someone can help verify that soon.

457 should be glow plugs i imagine
    614 ecu
    404 fuel pump

heres a better one. you can also try unplugging each relay individually and key on. it should be pretty obvious which one was pulled

Many many Thanks for the new link its a lot more helpful.Just a shame that it doesn't show the numbers or say what 1.1 is. I will try swapping the 404 relay with the one under the dash to see if it fires the fuel pump and then check the others and post back what I find.
