My 2021 Nogaro Blue S4

After about a month of back and forth with the dealer (Audi Van Nuys), their main online sales platform (driveway.com), and delivery from Los Angeles to NC. My car was finally delivered today. It's a 2021 S4 P+ in Nogaro Blue with all the options I would want in the car. Overall, it was an ok experience, and for buying sight unseen it's a bit scary.

First thing I did when I could was give it a decent car wash to get rid of all the road grime.

Tomorrow, I am bringing it to Black Forest Technik for them to check it over as I do have a 7-day / 400 mile return policy. There are a couple of things I'm not happy about that a rep is supposed to contact me tomorrow about. However, the car is fairly clean. I'd say a 8.0-8.5 for exterior, and once it gets paint corrected probably a 9.5. Interior is very clean as well.

Eventually, I'll try to make it a little faster than my current GSW. But, for the time being, I want to keep the warranty.

Looking good! I picked up a 2023 Prestige last year and really love the Sedan. That color is timeless and looks great on the S4 body.

Yup the color is the only reason i went for the car. I’ve been looking at SQ5, S5s.

But, I’m happy with the purchase so far. It does have the options I would want. So whoever spec'd it did me right.

Gorgeous! I would 100% go for it too based on color alone. It's been my all time favorite Audi color since the early 2000's.

Stopped by Black Forest Industries as well and grabbed a Signal blue alcantara shifter and trans mount insert. I’ll install the shifter later today.

Looks amazing. Nogaro blue always takes me back to my B7 days (my first S4).

Here in the UK 2020+ S4's are diesel . I don't know what I'm going to replace my 2017 with once (according to the forum) the rocker arms fail :(

I installed an ethanol sensor and fuel-it today. Now, I’ve seen a lot of install videos and all did not use a bracket to hold the sensor which kind of bothered me. I took a gamble on a $8 bracket which is NLA. So you need to search for it. It fit once I trimmed it down and made new holes. But, I like this a lot better

Nice drop in times for 0-60 and 1/4 mile. What are the parameters for map 4? Was this on 93 octane?

Map 4 is whatever they have predone. I think +6 psi. I was e40. It’s too hot here right now for any good times.

Trying to do a flat bottom steering wheel swap. Currently have door panels recovered in Signal blue. Some performance mods are on their way as well. Nothing too crazy.

I dropped the rears off yesterday. They are going to be working on it today, and possibly see if it's easy enough for people to DIY in which they will sell a pattern. It looked rather easy compared to other panels.

Installed an IE intercooler today. Wasn’t that bad to install. Took about 3 hours at the most. Installed the IE intake and turbo inlet last week.

Installed some Amazon sound deadening today. Still have 3 1/2 sheets left.






I need to do the rear lid where the sub is. Not sure if the spare tire well is really needed since it’s an S4 vs S5 having the trunk being the same compartment.

What a stunner!! I've always been fond of the Blues offered by Audi & Porsche but Nogaro is perfect! I drooled over the B7 RS4 in the mid-00's. IMO the heyday for sports sedans. My dream's always been a sedan version of the RS4 here in the states but that's never going to happen.

Silly question but are those alcantara seat inserts? I always assumed they only came with full leather. Enjoying reading about your upgrades.

The seats are the base seats. Leather is an additional option.

This weekend I installed my speakers and sub. Still waiting on my door panels.

Today I started to redo the wiring so it looks a lot better. I’ve never really done anything like this before. So hopefully I did it alright.

Did a quick wash under the fender liners today. This was a SoCal car and still filthy underneath. So I would say you should do this and remove all the hidden leaves.

Thanks. I was able to get a 11.7 with the map 4 the other day. I changed the plugs today in hopes I can up the boost without any issue.

Also found dried coolant. Not sure if coolant migration?
