Hey everyone, I wanted to share my journey of making a full audio system upgrade that is completely plug and play for A4 B8. Upgrading audio system for Audi is a huge hassle and most of the time you just have to go for a completely custom system (cutting wires, drilling holes, running wires and so on). Such systems require a huge labour work, are very expensive and most of the time cannot be done by the driver due to the complexity. And I am not just talking about installing a sub to give more bass, I am talking about replacing all of your speakers and OEM amplifier WHILE making sure the rest of the system works as expected. There is very little benefit of just upgrading the speakers and leaving the stock amplifier, because the stock amplifier is simply too weak (I have tried it, believe me ).

What I want to share, is a completely 100% plug and play audio system upgrade for Audi A4 B8.
    • Original system 180W upgraded to 800W.
    • All 4 woofers and 4 tweeters replaced. Custom adapters and connectors. Mounts and plugs into original places.
    • Amplifer in combination with DSP. Goes into original amplifier places and plugs into original 32pin cable. Also has custom made frame, to make sure it mounts correctly and has the OEM look.
    • Custom 32pin adapter that connects to the original system, AMP and DSP. DSP can be controlled via DSP software using laptop.
    • Sound is corrected using DSP to ensure the best audio quality.
    • The original sound system can be plugged back in at any time if you wish to sell your vehicle or keep it OEM.
    • Amplifier = 4ch 800W (400W rms), Speakers = 180W (90W) per channel

I've already made 4 complete systems (excluding mine) and shipped them off. Everyone has been very satisfied and there were no issues at all.

Currently I've only made such audio system for:
    • Concert 8 speaker system
    • Concert 9 speaker system + sub in the trunk.

Next steps would be to make it work with 2G, 3G and 3G Plus, since these systems are more complicated that Concert due to using MOST BUS instead of CAN BUS. After that I would like to create a more powerful systems with 5-6ch that also have a subwoofer in the back while making sure everything is still just plug and play.

It would be AWESOME if you had something for the b8.5's with the B&O systems! Great work though!
