Water pump settlement

Has anyone else received this? I am the 3rd owner of my car and from what I know is I am the only one to replace the water pump and I did it myself with some other maintenance. My question is with this settlement can we get refunded our labor and our parts costs or only the parts are covered if we did it ourselves?

I thought that was only for the 2.0L. I don’t think water pumps were a major issue on the 3.0. They fail but literally every 2 liter car on the road is probably leaking lol.

I received it last week, ironically about a week after I had my water pump replaced. However, the 75,000 mile limit excluded me. I had 125K on my original pump so I guess I can't complain about longevity.

I received that notice last week as well; however, I recently sold my 2015 S4 and it had 99XXX miles so it was excluded from the settlement. Additionally, I would not have been able to provide the requisite records of all factory recommended services in order to qualify for any payout in the first place. Oh well!

Also got this letter a couple weeks ago. Funny, I just brought my car in for service to check the PVC, and they told me my water pump was leaking. My '15 is past the cut off date, even with 63k miles. But I think they're still pay 75% of it, if I get the service done before September (if I read correctly)?

I received mine a couple weeks ago but have not read through the fine print yet to determine what could or could not be covered. Sorry. Best wishes.

Interesting I must have missed the part about the cut off at 75k miles.

I got THREE notices! Two, for VIN numbers of Audi's I no longer own, one for my current 2016 S4 with 30,000 miles. I haven't had to replace the water pump and will be selling the car soon. Should I pass this notice onto the new owner?
