    Hi all!

Dad has a 2018 Q5 Progressiv and has the replace brake pad warning on.

I’m looking to get him a set of front and rears from Rock Auto but they show two kinds:

    1. Brembo
    2. Continental Teaves

Is there a way to know which one without physically looking at the car?

I live across the city for him and would rather save the trip if possible.

Here’s a screenshot showing the two variants:

I bought the EBC pads for my Audi Q5 S Line , I had powerstop (complete kit) on my 2012 Ford Escape it has rear drums so for the rear semi mettalic and the front aramid carbon , not semi mettalic a complete mismatch on Power Stop . I swapped the fronts out for Bendix severe duty metallic and now it is good . I've had EBC on about 4 different vehicles and they work good also they answer there support phone ! EBC Brakes USA 702-826-2400 may help you with which brakes you have . My S Line has the Brembos and I think the rotors are bigger in the front . You might need a tape measure .
