Gas cap change to OEM aluminum one?

Has anyone put this gas cap on their SQ5/Q5?



Does it fit correctly for our SQ5’s?

I've avoided these on all my cars. One small slip-up at the pump and it swings down to hit your paint.

The fuel cap is aluminum look not aluminum therefore not any heavier than the black stock one.

I ordered the fuel cap… did you have to modify the oil cap to sit straight (not crooked) on the engine? Also was the bottom the exact same as the original? I hear Audi some need venting some don’t?

No, it was perfectly straight. The bottom was identical to the original one. No issues whatsoever.

The same cap is made for Porsche too. One would have to be truly jaded to spend $100+ for a fake aluminum gas cap.

When I bought my SQ5 it had this one in the Porsche version on it. LOL I was not a fan, so got rid of it and replaced with OEM.
