Got damn what a car! The video and the pics aren't too shabby either! Limited to 250? How will that be allocated internationally? I doubt I'll ever see one IRL.

Why they never brought this B9 Avant to the US is just a mystery. They would sell every single one of them.

Folks always says that, but wagons never catch on. In the US if you're a non-enthusiast the issue comes down to space, practicality, and comfort when compared to SUVs. Cost is high, especially for RS Avant models and many other brand's present/past wagons. Vehicle size is not an issue in most of the US unlike Europe. It's also an unorthodox choice compared to peers, not everyone wants to stand out.

Some enthusiasts always say they want them, but many don't wind up buying. Most people have a limited budget for how many fun cars they can own at once, so high performance wagons often get de-prioritized against other cars. Enthusiasts have their choice of more sports oriented cars in the same price range. There are more practical performance oriented SUVs as well. If you're thinking of buying a new wagon and want to keep it to mod you have to figure there's a chance aftermarket support won't ever be as comprehensive for the Avant model.

For those not worried about money and looking to by their Nth car there is already the RS6 Avant. They only managed to sell like 800 of those last year though.
