    I watched T.C. as well, he seems to be the guru.
    If I recall, he mentioned that journal bearing is fine for street application , which I I have the RS7 plus 4, from Pinnacle performance.

    Get the FE stage 1 ball bearing they are much better and putting down low 10s 1/4 mile and mid 2 second 0-60 punching well above their weight class

    Ok ... great price ... great AD ... How many people are actually running this set up ...?

    I want to replace my OEM cast for billet or better ... I am at 80 Kmiles ... APR Stage 1 for the last 25 Kmiles ...

    Was considering Pinnacle Performance ... will see what tune is best after replacement ... and pricewise, too

    4, $1200. I might jump
    And ditch my rs7 plus 4. Time will tell for me.
    Stage 1 APR, on what octane 93? E85?

    How do you like the APR tune?

    They were my second choice if DS1 wasn't in the business.

    There's a good amount of ppl running them, a few of the fastest hybrid turbo cars are running them, you will probably find more of them on Facebook they have a bigger following on there

    Man, the Audi bug got me .
    What can I say.
    These 4.0 T is really the Heavyweight Champion. You can go wrong with them, I want to see what the A8L can do for a while. Stock turbos with e85 stage 2, with CWA 100-3 intercooler pump.
    Big Baby is about to go under the knife in 2 wks.. .
    I really like Bob Orr, from fb group his a8 setup is King.

    Man, I'm still learning a lot from the members.

    On my s7, I added a JHM heat exchanger with a new cwa 100 pump, and I was golden.
    I wish I would have done e85 as well before I sold my s7 to a 70yr gentleman who lives 59 miles away from me.

    Sometimes, I think about asking Ole Boy if he wants to sell me back my s7.
    Man, I know I have some Audi depression over here.lol.

    He doesn't even drive it since his ownership ( two 2months ago) he put only 172 miles on the car. We stay in contact.
    His son Alex works for the Audi sales department.

    Anyway, that's a good thread. Botbasher provided tons of data.

    To my knowledge, they don't make hx for the 4.0 A8L only for the 3.0. A8..

    Anything can fit anything... if you have the skills, tools and inclination!!!

    I'd be surprised if it wasn't really close from the start. Under the skin, many Audis are very similar! My A5 and S6 are very close except in overall size.

    I have no skill set, which will allow me to cut into the crash bar to mount the JHM s7 hx, but however, I do have a friend name Adam on fb group which has the fastest s8 in the country for right now, single turbo setup.

    He is doing all my modifications in 2 wks..

    Bigbaby is about to be a BEAST...
