I would use only VW TL-774-G (Audi G12++ / Porsche G40) or TL-774-J (Audi G13) compliant fluid. They are the same additive basis, but 774-J replaces 20% of the ethylene glycol content (~90%) with glycerin, and adds a test requirement of "Long-term stability acc. to ASTM D 4340", except extended to 1000 hours. Porsche did not bother with a 774-J option. Why glycerin, I'm sure google.com can help you there. The current coolant is VW TL-774-L (Audi G12evo / Porsche G65), which is back to full ethylene glycol, with PSi HOAT to support the newer coolant components metallurgy. Audi considers the three interchangeable, except where the vehicle came with G12evo (then it must use G12evo). Except I think some A3 version that can't use G12evo? But for a B8 vehicle, whichever of the three.
I don't know if you can still get the gallon of G13 concentrate (100%), G 013 A8J 1G. It was inexpensive, mixed it with a gallon of distilled, still got half of it left all these years later. Didn't need to bother with third-parties. When dealing with third-party, you'll have to sort "actually tested to spec X" vs "we claim it to be as good as spec X". Pentosin is owned by Fuchs, so kind of the same thing there. Looks like CRP is the major Fuchs/Pentosin distributor for NAR. Curious, looking up the coolant for a 2013 allroad, it comes back with the Pentofrost E (774-J / G13), but in one p/n for US and Mexico, and a different p/n for Canada.

I guess Fuchs 774-J without Pentosin branding is

It probably won't matter which one you use. Zerex G40, not surprising given its name, is a 774-G product rather than 774-J. The factory fill in your B8.5 would have been G13.
