I bought this car 2.5 years ago as a daily and it’s been outstanding as such. I replaced the driver front wheel bearing upon purchase. Outside of that it’s required very little beyond oil changes. It’s the nicest car I’ve ever owned by a long shot as far as every day comfort. Ride is great, quiet, etc. a solid platform for someone looking to modify.
I had the transmission service done in February i believe. Other than that it’s had a new battery, PCV, filters, coil packs, and spark plugs in the last month. It’s currently throwing a code for the turbocharger boost control position sensor circuit. I can/am planning to replace the turbo, but i figured I’d throw this up now to see what the interest is.
It’s not a perfect car aesthetically. The front bumper could use a respray and there are dings and paint knicks around the car. But mechanically it’s solid (minus the actuator)and it generally presents pretty well. I’m selling as I’d like to get back i to something a bit smaller (b5 a4, s3, etc)
