Question '22 and '23 RS5 Coupe online prices, overpriced?

    Hi all,

Thanks in advance for any and all replies. I'm looking at a couple of RS5s listed on autotrader and they seem to be listed above the KBB upper range.
One in particular that I like is a 2022 that is very well equipped, has low miles (5,045) and has the Bronze package. A simple search will find it. It's at a dealer listed at $73,900 which is at the high end of my budget, and that doesn't include sales tax, license or getting it from Boston to California by truck. The KBB range says $67K to $70.6K, so as I said, above KBB. It was originally listed at $75,990, then lowered twice by $1K each time. It has been listed for almost 3 months now. I called the dealer and told them I was interested but only at $70K. They said I was too far off, that they might consider "a couple hundred dollars lower".
The other car I like is a 2023 that is similarly equipped without the Bronze package and has 13,800 miles and is listed at $69,950 by a private seller in TN. There is no KBB in the listing for this one, but autotrader does say that the price has been lowered. Both cars are white and have the ceramic front brakes which I like. From what I can tell they otherwise are identically equipped.
So my question is, do either of these look to be fair values, are they both overpriced, or what? Do these cars typically bring more than what KBB says they're worth?

    Thanks, RS5fan

Wait a few more weeks and see if the price drops a few more times. Patience is the name of the game here as well controlling the need to buy right now!!
When looking for my S5 I ran into the same issue, the most I could get any dealer to drop the price was $500, and only one dealership offered that. But, by waiting a few extra weeks the prices dropped by close to $1000 each week.
