    Rear subframe differences Avant Quattro?

My rear subframe on the Allroad is rotten.. so It needs to be replaced (it looks to far gone to justify the time for a repair)

In ETKA the allroad shares the part number with the regular A5/S4 and A5/S5 quattro, 8K0505235AK. The A4 and A5 however also has a version with an H instead of a K at the end.

Do I need to find a part with the ending K or will the H fit just as well?

In short: Should any B8 quattro rear subframe fit?

    B8 A4 allroad rear subframe, p/n 8K0 505 235

    AF through Apr '09
    AG through Sep '09
    AJ through Aug '10
    AK through Sep '15
AN for Oct & Nov '15
    AQ starting Dec '15

    B8.0 A4 quattro rear subframe, p/n 8K0 505 235

    L > AB > AH > AP > AQ - A4, A5 with 4-cyl
    AD > AF > AG > AJ > AK > AN > AQ - S4, A5 with 6-cyl, S5, sportback

    AH/AP had 8K0 505 145 B front and 8K0 505 145 C rear bushings
    AK had 4G0 505 145 B front and 4G0 505 145 C (hydro) rear bushings
    AN had 4G0 505 145 G front and 4G0 505 145 C (hydro) rear bushings
AQ has the same bushings as AN

So you should stick to the AK > AN > AQ line. The AH > AP line is clearly meant for lower stress/load builds. That AN only lasted two months before being replaced by AQ, no idea what to read from that.

I don't know if the AK/AN/AQ bushing set would be exchangeable into the AH/AP frame. Could be a direct swap, could be different (such as 65mm conventional vs 75mm hydraulic for the front guide links). And I don't know if the AH/AP, being targeted for lower load vehicles, wouldn't be built to lower capabilities (cheaper part for mass manufacturing volumes).

Lifetime Audi parts had these for cheap if you are anywhere close to North Carolina. Can also be had on eBay.
