QStuning unlock ECU & TCU 8y rs3's

Seems we are seeing the unlocks more an more now, this company I've watched a lot since they really did a great job with their C8 RS6 over the passing years. Seems like they hit all the important areas on the tuning, surprised TCU is unlocked as well. Pricing is reasonable as well especially for an unlock, ECU and TCU tune.

Nice to see they hit all the little things everyone hates including wg rattle, soft limiter, exhaust valves open. They did there homework for what folks want thats for sure.

Assuming its similar to Femto where you have to do a bench unlock which seems to be the standard these days on all newer ecu's. Will be interesting to see if anyone does this state side.

Wonder if those numbers are e85, and how the transmission handle the extra load in the long road.

Was wathing 8Ys on youtube last night that def are tuned, looks like we finally made it....

8Y has been tuneable for awhile, but you have to mail your ECU to another continent.

Not a deal braker for me or the many whom have done this with femto already. Process wasn't to bad considering.

I havent heard a single person who has a tuned 8Y ecu from sending it to Europe/Asia/Wherever....

How is this different from all the other companies doing bench unlocks? It's nothing new.

Good to see that we are making progress. As far is the power output, here is the output of other tuners on the 8V platform:

That company is in the UK.

Apparently, Mission Performance has the ability to OBD tune DME's on the BMW's, but will not release it until they can secure the technology and prevent people from pirating it. In the meantime, everyone is going to FEMTO in Finland for bench DME unlocks. Same ECU, I believe. Mission Performance did the tune for Toyota on the Supra TRD Heritage edition years ago so maybe they were able to get insider access to this ECU. It doesn't help that they are hoarding the technology though.
