A thread was ongoing discussing the HMS RS4 catback exhaust (https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...S4-HMS-Exhaust). There is now a group buy in progress for RS4 owners in the US interested in purchasing an RS4 exhaust. HMS has offered to also include B8.5 RS5s into the group buy if there is interest.
The exhaust is valved and resonated. Reportedly zero drone in the RS4 (confirmed by a few users on the forums and in YouTube comments) in the cabin and it seems like it works well with both aftermarket DPs and OEM DPs. All their Audi exhausts have had the same design for the past few years. HMS has confirmed that there is no changes to the sound or design that may have affected other manufacturers exhausts sound quality (i.e. diminished sound on OEM exhausts over the years). Oval polished tailpipes are standard - tailpipes can be 'coated in a black ceramic paint' for an additional 100 Euros. The savings for sending one pallet of exhausts to an individual location in the US via ocean freight will be significantly cheaper than air freight to individual customers.
