The 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap for EA839 V6 2.9T/3.0T Engines is designed to replace your factory plastic oil cap. The 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and is anodized bright black for lifelong great looks, topped off with a 034Motorsport logo. Transform the engine bay of your EA839 equipped car with the beautiful and sexy 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap.

The 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap for EA839 is engineered to have a tighter seal with the factory PCV system to mitigate catastrophic failure in the event the factory breather hose or PCV system fails. When the PCV or breather system has failed, the factory oil cap can loosen or remove itself under high-boost applications, leading to the potential escape of hot oil into the engine bay. The 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap helps prevent such scenarios by providing a significantly tighter seal, reducing the risk of damage to your engine and car, and providing greater peace of mind for performance enthusiasts.*

034Motorsport does not recommend removing the oil cap by hand when your engine is at operating temperature without using a glove, rag, or removal tool, as it will require some force to remove and may be too hot to touch. 034Motorsport offers an STL file of our Billet Oil Cap Removal Tool, free of charge, for you to 3D print at home. 034Motorsport also offers the dimensions of the Billet Oil Cap so you DIYers can design your own removal tool from wood, metal or any suitable material! If you’ve designed a cool one, let us know by emailing [email protected] and our team would be happy to showcase it on this product page! The 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap can be removed by hand when the engine has cooled down.

*Note: The 034Motorsport Billet Oil Cap is not a fix for the faulty PCV system, but is designed to mitigate the risk of further engine damage and engine fires due to the rapid evacuation of engine oil.
