Red face New Project - 2010 A5 convertible

New project car to me. Was female owned and driven ( Which in this case means dings and dents).

Car was eligible for engine rebuild for piston rings but they missed the date. I got the car for nothing and started rebuilding. 80k miles... things to be addressed

    1. Engine overhaul
    2. Wheel paint toast
    3. Brakes are done
    4. Interior ice screen uv coating
    5. Various switches edges damaged (from nails?)
    6. Deep clean inside and out.
    7. Front fender, rear quarter and bumper dings (not fixed yet).

Overall with most issues fixed, I have really started to like this car. The alignment was so off on the car it was fighting itself. It feels like it has 50 extra hp.

My question is, is there anything I should pay attention to?

Top is OK, headliner is saggy (used double-sided tape and is almost oem level). I could get a 2015 top for $300?

    Original wheels (need painting)

    New brakes and S5 wheels

I really like this color - blue / gray with black and gray seats.

Congrats & enjoy. The S5 wheels look great.

I just picked up a 2011 Ibis White A5 Cabrio on a whim over the weekend as a stablemate for my 2011 Brilliant Black A4 Avant.

I always thought it was funny how Audi puts "dual" exhaust outlets on the A5 Cabrio, but not the coupe. Seems strange to me....but I like the look a lot better.

I am wondering could I repurpose a RS5 exhaust? Just the cat back?

I agree with dual looks better.

Looking at your profile with the euro parts. Anything interesting you would consider? I know way back there was a gut in Poland sending out S5 mirror caps and other various parts. Is there anything like that today?
