Packing Used Oil for Shipment (FCP Euro Return)

Maybe a dumb thread but I haven't ever shipped oil back to FCP as part of their lifetime warranty program.

How do ya'll package & re-seal original oil containers to prevent spilling during transit? I've tried duct tape but it seems to leak through when laid on its side.

    Thanks,

Good question. Tried that once from FCP. Taped, double plastic bag, etc.

Still got rejected from post office because not labeled correctly or something. Rejection note from PO was not terribly clear.

If FCP really wanted people to do it they would post instructions....

Following up after doing some more research...here's a good strategy:

Many people have recommended adding a statement in the package in case it gets inspected, as USPS has allegedly returned packages to some people claiming the oil is hazmat.

I’d like to know the reason for the return? Oil is a consumable item, and doesn’t last a lifetime. Please add some context.
