    Replace Center Console Cup Holder

    Hi All,

My daughter just picked up a 2021 Q3 and the previous owner apparently sloshed coffee around the cupholders allowing it to spill behind the ambient LED strip making it brown and not well lit.

It appears that the center console cupholders are screwed in from underneath so I anticipate replacing the cupholders (and nasty light bar) will require removing the center console, flipping it over and removing the cupholder by unscrewing it.

Anyone per chance, have some experience in doing this? I suspect it will require removing around 10 screws, the armrest and wiggle the whole unit out.

If you don't get an answer, the next best thing is a 1-day subscription to Audi erWin and download yourself all the PDF manuals for the car. These should show you the sequence and all the necessary pieces to remove the console

Hi BT - good to hear from you. Thanks for the recommendation. I wasn't aware that a short-term subscription like that was now offered.
