    Stock 2024 RS7 Draggy 0-60 runs

I was able to do a few 0-60 runs with the draggy today. Have the 2024 performance, bone stock (for now). Temps are still in the low 40's so the tires have a hard time getting traction. I did 2 runs using the launch control and 2 just mashing the gas. There's a big difference in times. The quickest run was 3.38 or 3.15 (1ft. rollout) using launch control in RS2. Quickest time just mashing the gas in RS2 was 3.82 or 3.53 (1ft. rollout). I'm getting quite the bog right out of the gates with either method then it pulls hard around the 15-20 mph mark. I assume that's the traction control trying not to spin. Even though it's "off" I'm pretty sure it's still trying to work a little bit.. So there you have it.

I'm going to try again when it warms up a little to see if there's any improvement with traction or that bogging effect. Since I don't have any tuning options yet, do I get a Eventuri intake? They claim significant gains on stage 1 cars and with the bigger turbos in this would I see similar results?

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the info. I am also wondering what can be achieved with simple bolt-ons like intake, inlets, res delete ... is there anything else? How about some underdrive pulleys

I am not too keen on a 10k exhaust. My car recently hit a coyote so I am putting in CFE intercoolers since one needed to be replaced anyway. I figure it is 1200 off the CFE since that is what one replacement intercooler cost and it will be ready for a tune if I keep after warranty expires.

APR boasts an intake that will allow turbos to spool quicker and add power/torque and make the cars quicker. I have a hard time buying that. But, a simple stage 1 tune - from most tuners - will add boost and immediately available torque. That alone should drop 0-60 times, if that's what you're after. I've read exhaust doesn't do anything but sound "more cool."

Seriously, though, with 6300ish HP and 600TQ moves a 5,000lb car pretty well. Also, when you hit a private road check your 1/4 mile and 60-130. You'll be hauling ass in comfort!!

I noticed an improvement on throttle response/turbo spool-up time when I installed my IE intake.
