Hi all. Hoping I can get some opinions on couple of issues: will using installing new strut mounts meant for electronic suspension to replace old strut mount in non-electronic shocks create any problems? Will using a bit higher springs affect anything other than the ride height? Here is the info.

I have 2010 Audi A4 B8 with sport package and 110,000 miles. I found out control arms were bad and struts were getting mushy (tires wearing unevenly). So, I replaced both upper and lower control arms (with ball joints), springs, struts and strut mounts this weekend. However, I managed to order wrong strut mounts. The original mounts are 8K0412377C, but I purchased and installed 8K0412377D. My bad for not verifying the VIN. They looked same to me and seem to fit fine, but I did not look very closely. I am concerned with any issues if I kept them. Could they be thicker/taller than the original? I could buy the correct ones or put back the old ones in, but really don't want to take it apart again. Everything has been torqued already.

Also - used different springs. Original springs are 1 Violet & 3 Pink Marks, but I installed Lesjofors 4004279 which are 1 Violet & 2 Gray Marks. My wife will be driving this car as much as I and she has struggled with avoiding rocks on the road before (busted rack an pinion once already), so I am ok with having the car ride higher, if that is the only result of changing the springs.

Help in figuring this out is much appreciated.
