Not quite the same, but, I have an S4 intake from IE on my SQ5. A while before I purchased my SQ5 I had a customer bring in a newly purchased used S4 that had a bunch of bolt-ons that he wanted returned to stock. He wanted nothing to do with any of it and told me to keep it all. But I digress. Everything but the heat shield fits. The heat shield mostly fits, just not perfectly as-is. The heat shield uses the rubber isolators from the stock airbox and those pop into the holes just fine, but there are two problem areas of fitment - at the core support and at the shock tower. At the core support there is no hole for the heat shield to screw into and the loose heat shield could contact aluminum AC condenser plumbing. Not much room to be drilling a hole in the core support there, FYI. A section of rubber hose could be split and used to wrap around the AC line if you're unable to secure the heat shield, I suppose. At the shock tower, the loose heat shield could contact the fuel lines. Even though my heat shield is solidly secured, I chose to put sheetmetal edge trim on the shield just in case.
