IE SQ5 vs AWE SQ5 resonated exhaust

I’m currently stage 3 IE and would like a deeper tone not a fan of just CTS DP sound.

Any opinions between these two ?

Anything exhaust, I’d go AWE. Had their exhausts on my B8.5 A5 and 8V S3, absolutely loved them. Can’t imagine their SQ5 offering would be anything short of fantastic.

Still don't have any comprehension of why exhaust systems for this vehicle are so damn high especially with no tips. I have only heard clips and both sound good so on price alone I would say IE!

The IE sounds like shit get the AWE. If catless go resonated, if catted go unresonated. I've been running it catless with the resonators for a couple years now and it sounds amazing. I can't go anywhere without at least one person complimenting me on how my car sounds. Several people in sq5's and s4's have almost crashed into me in traffic trying to ask me what exhaust I'm running.

I'd say AWE for sure. I've run both their Res and Non-Res variants on my B9 SQs. Changes the entire experience.

I'll try to get a video this weekend.

100% more burbles with non-res. That's the best part. The overall volume difference isn't huge between the two but the non-res provides more burbles and pops. And a bit of rasp up top which I prefer.

They certainly got balls charging that for a set of tips with a flap.. but this is from an automaker using fake tips and turn downs. But the bigger issue imo is you wanna charge $2300 for an a aftermarket catback put some tips on it!
