S5 Convertible MMi and Bluetooth

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself as I purchased a 2020 Audi S5 Convertible for my wife. It was her dream car when dating 22years ago (then 2002 A4 Convertible) and was able to surprise her with it.

A little about the car; its glacier white with red interior, and was purchased from Allentown Audi last year with about 16k miles.

I’m a long time Audi fan, as I also have a B5 S4, that I’ve owned for 20years and use as my daily driver.

Having the car for almost a year now I have a few questions. The dealer set me us as the key user when I picked up the car and I created a profile for my wife. The MMI never accepted her profile, always saying to try again later. I contacted AoA regarding this and the call agent stated this model can only accept one user, and to just use my profile.

She has been using it this way, and when I drive it, I manually change all the seat, mirror etc settings. This doesn’t seem right to me, and just wanted to reach out and see if this is accurate.

Another strange issue, is when her phone is connected via Bluetooth callers cannot hear her. My phone, however, works well. Both on latest iOS. Thinking it was an issue with her phone she got a replacement phone, but we still have the same issue.

Any idea on what may cause this?

I have a 2018 S5 convertible and we have no issues with our phones. We both have an iphone 13. As far as the other issue I'm not entirely sure I understand your problem unless you only have one key. My wife has a key, and so do I. When she uses her key the seats and mirrors adjust for her, and my key does the same for me.
