I have been searching for a nice TT RS but so many have accidents on them. I have a dealer trying to sell me a 2020 with 45,000 miles on it fully loaded for $56,000 plus tax title. That seems a little high to me being that it has 2 accidents on it. Car is very clean though and was well taken care of minus someone could not drive well or had bad misfortune in less than a year.

I ran a quick search on cars.com and that price does not look that bad. The 2 repairs after 45K miles may not be that bad but I think Carfax will give the areas of the damage that you could inspect closely for repair completeness and quality.

Carfax will tell the nature of the damage and cost of repair for those accidents. Only then can you make an educated decision about the car.

$56k is not bad at all. Last weekend I just paid for a 2019 w/ 15k miles, also loaded but w/o OLED taillights for $64k.

The accidents were back in 21 and 22. One was moderate and the other was minor - moderate. Both accidents the vehicle had to be towed with both being front end damages.

My car had two accidents when I purchased it. I was pretty concerned about it until I got the details about it. Apparently, my car was owned by a female prior and she had run the car up a curb and into a fence in an attempt to park it at her residence--twice. You can make whatever assumptions you want about that. Anyhow, the car was fixed and sold by Audi to me as a CPO so, I felt fine about it. I will say that the quality of the repair work wasn't exactly something that I was super thrilled with but, since I knew I was getting the car built, the details there didn't matter to me as much and I have since gone through every bit of that part of the car and ensured it was good to go. I would impress upon you to do the same but, not to stress too much about that being a deterrent.

The only concern you may have is resale after your ownership, if that's even a concern to you. Otherwise, enjoy the car.

My 2022 technically has two accidents on it as well, but really my window was just broken twice.

You don't know for sure until you ask for records.
