    How can easily identify brake code

    I have a 2001 Audi s4 5 speed tip I’m putting new Zimmerman front rotors on them but keep seeing a difference in options PR Code 1LX is there a way to locate what my car needs via the VIN ?

    Well considering they have reman OEM calipers at the autozone 5 min from my house, I would say look a little harder.

    Didn’t want duralast was hoping for the upgraded front brakes I see. I didn’t know what brand or what people are using maybe Porsche calipers that kind of thing just looking for different options.

    This may be a good place for you to start. A lot of people do go with 17Z, 18Z, some Macan or Q5 calipers, etc. There really are a ton of options! Do some searching on the forum. It can be a rabbit hole.
    I think a lot of DIY stuff usually requires either odd rotors or machining some rotors, and or modifying the upright, and or using some custom caliper brackets. You’ll need to do some leg work if you want the look, Haas. When you have a knowledge base and ask more specifics you’ll get a warmer response.
    YouTube can also be your friend. HunterDirection just did a very dramatic 2 part series on installing a RotorLab kit.
