    Hello.
I've tried to search online, and the in app search for this forum never seems to return anything no matter what I type. Hopefully this is an easy answered question. Where is my evap canister?
2013 A4 B8.5 manual Quattro. Every video and location I find says it's under the spare tire. Only thing I have there is my battery. No panels to remove to expose the canister and filter, etc.

The fuel cap was suctioned on tight this evening and I had to trickle fuel in to fill it up.

    Any help is appreciated.

Disregard. I followed the gurgling sound when I pulled off my fuel cap and found it in front of the drivers side rear wheel.
    Sorry for the forum fodder.

Just take a peek at the left rear wheel well. There's this plastic cover, and behind it, you should spot your evap canister. If the fuel cap was a bit tricky, it could be connected, so it's cool that you're checking it out.

Thanks. I'm not sure what's going on quite yet. I let it thaw out in the shop for the night, and this evening, I disconnected the larger line from the canister and went to refuel. Everything was good. Hooked the line back up and will try to refuel again tomorrow and troubleshoot from there, if needed. Also dismantled my fuel cap and cleaned it out in case moisture got in there and froze.
I believe that large line goes to a tank vent filter that is up behind my left rear wheel well liner?

Credit to an A4 B6 thread from @old_guy for the troubleshooting tips. Different car, but I would assume it's similar in operation. Cheers.

The charcoal canister itself should have two lines, and the leak detection pump (LDP) V144 attached to it should have two lines.

canister line to the fuel tank locking flange (where the rear fuel level sensor is)
canister line to the N80 purge valve on the engine
LDP line to the vacuum pump on the engine
LDP line to the ambient air vent (little canister should be mounted somewhere around there)
