USA sales totals by year for RS7 (and RS6)

Awesome stats - thanks for sharing. Makes sense on release year selling the most, and then subsiding after. Also makes sense on RS7 sales, definitely seems a bit more rare then RS6.

So around 3K RS6 in usa thus far. Not an awful lot!

True there usually is a second-year drop, but what really killed things this time were the parts shortages that began after Ukraine was invaded.

Only one RS model has ever broken 2k in America, and that was the 2019 RS5 Sportback, which blitzed the record at 3100+ partly due to an extended model year but mainly due to overestimated demand.
I'll see what I can do about throwing together a color chart.

Thanks for the info Group_B. As expected the greys are top of the chart (interesting that Nardo is #1 and that explains why the used market has plenty).
I am so happy I found a Navarro Blue as I did not anticipate only 85 came to the US.

Way awesome data. Now that the ultra blue is no more, feels great knowing I Have ~1/120 made for the US! Makes it feel that much 'more'. When will the final '23 tally be in?

Traditionally big sellers but the RS3 has been suffering from supply issues lately and the RSQ8 is now affected as well.
In addition, every gen of these 2 cars has always been introduced to the US at the very end of a model year, resulting in a tiny run of 250-350 before the changeover.

I got my 21 Nogaro (Canada build so AE) in 5.5 months. Less than 18 months later, the wait time for an RS6 was 18 months so that killed the second year numbers . . .

221 RS6s on AutoTrader or 7% of production 2021 to 2023. Feel like it is easier to find one of these than the depleted SQ7 inventory that I’ve been looking through

The RS7 is definitely very rare in Canada, but more so because the RS6 is a much more popular choice.

Interesting how Canada sold so much more RS6's per capita in 2023, I guess the relatively strong 2022 sales lead to more Canadian allocations in 2023.

The 2023 numbers are kind of a mystery.
For the US to drop slightly is not unexpected, especially with the CCB shortages that occurred as the year went on.
But for Canada to more than double is out of left field.
